Oregon Zoo Summer concerts

The summer season of concerts starts tonight. Yesterday the zoo looked good but had a lot of fences up for remodeling. The area behind the concert lawn is fenced off while the Alaska exhibit becomes the savanna. An example of global warming. The lawn looked nice and green, ready to sit on for a concert. Tonight Wednesday June 18, 2008 is Junior Brown. There will be 10 Wednesday night concerts this year. Check out the zoo’s web page for information on the concerts. Remember do not bring alcoholic beverages into the zoo. You have to buy your beer or wine in the Zoo and drink it there. For the rest of the rules and there are many, check the Zoo’s web page. I am looking forward to lazy summer nights listening to good music and watching the animals dance to the music. I just listened to HAPA’s music on the web playing July 9th, 2008. They sound like they will play an excellent concert.
