Trout Lake 43rd annual fair August 1 -3, 2008

This is a fun community fair. There is a fun run Saturday morning. At 10 am is a parade. The parade has lots of farm and logging equipment. Cute kids and pets are in the parade. The parade does a nice job showcasing the community. I think there are more people in this parade than watching it. Please come and cheer for this community. There are food booths selling hamburgers, hot dogs and sausages. Don’t expect Portland’s food cart cuisine; instead enjoy good old fashion fair food. There is a timber carnival from 12:30 to 3 pm. There are games for children. There is a bounce house, bungee run, climbing wall and a zip line. The day ends with a family barn dance from 7 to 11 pm. The fair is a non profit.
