First Thursday June 5, 2008

It is time for first Thursday art walk in the Pearl and downtown. It might be raining tonight. I am hoping that it is like last night with pretty clouds and no rain. Glass Art Society is hosting its 38th annual conference here in town later this month. For the month of June just about everywhere is showcasing glass art. I enjoy looking at glass art, the way light plays off the glass. Bullseye is hosting an exhibit of selected works of Klaus Moje and the Glass Workshop at Canberra School of Art, Australian National University. This exhibit is held concurrently with a similar exhibit at Portland Art museum. Bullseye Gallery 300 NW 13th Avenue Portland, OR www.bullseyegallery.com

First Thursday Art Walk June 7, 2007

This morning is overcast. Last night it stopped raining and was a lovely evening. I anticipate the same this evening. It is fun strolling around downtown and the pearl looking at art.
